Amid all the Millie Court and Liam Reardon drama on Sunday’s Love Island, the episode climaxed with a heart-to-heart between Faye Winter and Teddy Soares – which ended with the pair locking lips.

In scenes few may have expected, considering Faye’s reaction to Teddy’s kiss on the Casa Amor postcard, which saw her recouple with new bombshell Sam Jackson, it appears the couple might not quite be over.

Before he and Faye sat down to catch-up on where their heads were at, she spayed his aftershave, which she called her ‘favourite scent’ before joking that she’d been ‘trying to get rid of it’ when Teddy commented on the dwindling levels in his bottle.

As their banter turned to serious talk, Faye laid all her cards on the table as she detailed her reaction to the postcard, which ‘rattled her’ as she admitted she’d been ‘a tw*t’ by putting her guard up again.

‘Yeah, got the postcard – screaming, lying down on the floor like, literally, just take me, and then I came out here and just sobbed because I felt like I already knew what I had… And then I just felt like you f***ed it.’

‘We both f***ed it,’ Teddy put forward, and Faye agreed.

As it transpired that Teddy’s kiss from the postcard was during a game – if not a formal challenge – Faye already seemed to be softening before Teddy made his move and they had a kiss.

But where does this leave them – and where does this leave Sam? Only time will tell, but many fans are here for a reunion, with many commenting on their ‘true chemistry’ and calling for them to win the show.

Fans’ spirits had been crushed when Teddy returned to the villa single, hoping Faye would be waiting for him after he slept outside on the daybed each night, to find her coupled up.

Through Love Island’s Unseen Bits, fascinating insights into Teddy have been revealed, including the fact that he used to be royalty, through his family in Nigeria.

Adorably, he was also seen talking to Faye’s cuddly toy Milo when no other Islanders were around.

Love Island continues on Monday at 9pm ITV2 and is available to watch on ITV Hub.
