Love Is Blind was one of the Netflix hits of 2020, with viewers hooked on the drama as contestants attempted to find love with one another – without actually meeting in person.

If you’ve been wondering what happened to the cast of that series since they went off into the sunset, you’re about to find out in the reunion show After The Altar, which has just landed on Netflix.

That show catches up with the cast of the series, to see who has stayed the distance – and while some are indeed still together, it hasn’t been a happy ending for all the show’s couples.

Given the popularity of Love Is Blind, we have of course been left wondering if the show might be coming back for another series.

Can we expect to see season two any time soon?

Will there be a season 2 of Love Is Blind?

Good news, Love Is Blind fans – the show has indeed been renewed for not one, but two more series.

Netflix announced season two all the way back in March 2020 – breaking the news with a tweet of Amber from the first series.

They then replied to their own tweet just a minute later, saying the show had also been renewed for a third season.

Prior to the announcement, showrunner Chris Coelen told metro.co.uk that a Love Is Blind return was on the cards.

‘We’re certainly talking about [season 2], yeah,’ he told us. ‘I think it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing people put to the test of whether love is blind well into the future.

He even hinted at a British version ,saying: ‘Absolutely! 100 percent yet. Let’s make it happen, I’d love it.’

When will Love Is Blind season 2 air on Netflix?

There’s no confirmed date for the next series of Love Is Blind yet, although applications for the series opened in March 2020.

It’s possible that filming may have been affected by the Covid pandemic, which caused many TV and film productions to temporarily shut down last year.

While the first season was shot in Atlanta, the casting call for series two was looking for singles in Chicago – suggesting that we could expect the next run of episodes to be set there.

Nick and Vanessa Lachey are also set to return as presenters for the next season.
