Love Island 2021 is about to kick off in a big way as a teaser showed mysterious postcard was delivered to the main villa, with Chloe Burrows on hand to pick it up.
Things have been kicking off left, right and centre since the boys left for the infamous Casa Amor on Monday, with Liam Reardon almost instantly getting his head turned by Lillie Haynes.
The girls in the original villa have been respecting their partners and refraining from making deep connections with their selection of bombshells to stay loyal, and hoping the guys have been doing the same.
However, a delivery from producers may show them that it isn’t quite so innocent down the road…
In a teaser for tomorrow’s episode, Chloe can be seen going into meltdown over the mysterious post, screaming: ‘Oh my…. No f**king way!’
Loyal viewers will remember that the postcard popped up in series three, when Amber Davies and co were disrupted from their day with photos showing Kem Cetinay kissing Chyna as the other boys lay in bed with bombshells.
While Dani Dyer was devastated to receive a misleading video of then-boyfriend Jack Fincham reacting to his ex-girlfriend walking into Casa Amor the following year, with the eventual winner breaking down over the totally innocent footage.
Fans were loving the twist, hoping that this encourages the girls to start getting to know their new villa-mates.
Flocking to Twitter, one commented: ‘The postcard gonna make stuff interestingggg. Girls gonna be fuminggg #Loveisland [sic].’
‘After the postcard the ladies won’t know the word Loyalty it’s gonna be so pleasing to watch them fall in love with the new lads #LoveIsland,’ another predicted.
‘That postcard really needed to be a photo book or something #LoveIsland,’ a follower joked.
As a Twitter user added: ‘I just need Kaz and Millie to pick up two men to recouple with. Hopefully that postcard will be the wake up call they needed. #loveisland.’
Earlier in the episode, Millie opened up about where things stood with Liam, admitting that she wasn’t sure he’d stay faithful.
‘I honestly don’t trust him,’ she confessed. ‘If he’s there, someone could be there for him.’
She might be a little psychic as, at the very same time, Liam was sharing his opinions on Lillie, telling the newcomer that he’s definitely interested in her.
We don’t want to be in her heels when she finally realises what her beau has been up to…
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
