As the dust settled on Tuesday from the arrival of 12 new bombshells to Love Island, the Islanders got down to the business of organising sleeping arrangements in the villa and in Casa Amor, with the original girls proving much harder to win over than the boys.
As Liam Reardon got his head turned by Lillie Haynes and Toby and Tyler bedded down with Mary and Amy respectively, it was only Teddy and Jake that opted to sleep outside despite all of the boys bar Hugo being coupled-up beyond friendship.
However, as the lights went off, it was revealed that all of the OG Love Island girls in the villa had opted not to snuggle up with any of their bombshells.
Faye, Millie, Kaz, Liberty, Abigail and Chloe all decided they weren’t quite ready to get so up close and personal with Harry, Medhy, Matthew, Dale, Jack and Sam, who were left to it in the main bedroom.
Abigail, Liberty and Kaz opted to snuggle up in the living room together, while Chloe, Millie and Faye settled down on the day beds in the garden, with the latter proclaiming: ‘I swear to God, if Teddy’s spooning anyone tonight, I’ll be furious.’
The duo had earlier shared their worries over their couples as they pondered the temptations Liam and Teddy may be facing from the new bombshells.
Although Millie was open with Liam about liking him before he left for Casa Amor, she admitted to being ‘really scared about being hurt’ as the two tried to convince one another that the boys would return to them single from Casa Amor.
Unfortunately, despite the success the boys were enjoying over at Casa Amor though, Hugo ended up pied again.
His chosen girl Amy made a beeline for Tyler before Hugo could even get a chat with her, being pretty direct as she tried to get out of him what he thought of her. Seeing as she walked away with a sealed deal as far a bed mate goes (sorry Kaz), we reckon Tyler is certainly intrigued.
Hugo’s awkward second place chat then ensued as he tried to shoot his shot with the already paired-up Amy. His second choice, Lillie, also turned him down for Liam.
However, he did get to settle down with Kaila for the night so he wasn’t totally on his lonesome.
As for the future? Well, Hugo seemed tired but optimistic and the girls continued to be loyal. So business as usual.
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm on ITV2.
