Brad McClelland and Rachel Finni have brought the heat very quickly after coupling up on Love Island, with the pair seen getting steamy under the covers during their first night together.

At the start of tonight’s episode, Love Island viewers finally found out who Rachel decided to couple up with out of Brad and Chuggs Wallis after yesterday’s cliffhanger.

In the end, Rachel chose to go with Brad, with bucket hat company owner Chuggs becoming the second person to exit this year’s series.

Despite Brad rating Rachel a nine out of 10 during a supremely awkward one-on-one, the newest couple in the villa were spotted being intimate with each other when the lights went out, kissing before the action continued underneath the duvet.

‘I need to calm down otherwise I might get in trouble,’ Rachel said as she propped herself up on her pillow.

The next day while getting ready with the other girls in the dressing room, Rachel admitted that she and Brad were ‘dry humping each other’, describing it as ‘really, really sexy’.

Love Island fans were taken aback by how quickly things escalated between the pair, with one tweeting: ‘Rachel and Brad were what?????’ in response to Rachel’s confession.

‘Rachel has fallen for Brad way too quick there’s no way I just saw what I think I saw,’ someone said.

‘Rachel said yall can stay acting like nuns in here i will be doing this,’ another remarked.

Several viewers compared Rachel and Brad’s relationship to other contestants, including Toby Aromolaran with Kaz Kamwi and Liberty Poole with Jake Cornish, who have been moving at a slower pace.

‘Brad and Rachel did more than Jake and Liberty in the hideaway,’ one person said, after Liberty and Jake became the first couple to spend a night alone with each other in the luxurious Hideaway.

‘Rachel being more intimate than Toby has been in a whole week… Kaz deserves BETTER !!!,’ another stated.

Later on in the episode, Rachel pulled Faye Winter to one side to discuss her doubts about Brad, as he seemed to encourage her to get to know other islanders despite previously making the effort to couple up with her.

A teaser for tomorrow night’s instalment has revealed that two new female islanders are going to make a grand entrance, which could throw a spanner in the works for several of the couples.

How will new arrivals Lucinda and Millie shake things up? And which couples will stay strong while others crumble?

Love Island returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and is available to watch on ITV Hub.
