Too Hot to Handle was a big lockdown hit when the first season dropped on Netflix last year – with series two arriving just days before Love Island returns to screens.
This dating show has some similarities to the ITV hit – with a bunch of single strangers thrown together to live in a luxurious villa located in a country with a warm, sunny climate.
They may both feature a series of challenges designed to help romance blossom – but there’s a catch when it comes to the sun-soaked antics of Too Hot To Handle.
In the Netflix show, no one is allowed to hook up, and if they have any sort of sexual activity – even so much as a kiss – they will have some of their $100,000 pot of prize money deducted.
The second series has moved locations – but where will the drama take place this time, and where is the Too Hot to Handle villa located?
Where was Too Hot To Handle filmed?
The second series of Too Hot To Handle was filmed in Turks and Caicos, on Providenciales Island.
According to PopBuzz, the action takes place at the Turtle Tail Estate, an 8,000 square foot property that includes its own private beaches, tennis court, a gym, hot tub and 12-seater cabana.
Although you can stay there, it’ll set you back a pretty penny to book the five-bedroom property – with prices starting from around $10,000 (£7,100) a night.
So whether the contestants take home any prize money or not, they’ve already won thanks to their stay in these gorgeous digs during the show (and the exposure they no doubt hope to gain from appearing on the world’s largest subscription streaming service).
The show has moved from the location of the first series, which was filmed in Mexico, on a private estate called Casa Tau which is in the Western part of the country, not far from Puerto Vallarta.
